The only good thing about snow

is its reflective qualities. Today was brighter than it's been in months and I shudder to think about how long we'll have to wait to feel that much light again.

Stepford (the suburb where I work) even looked pretty covered in snow.

Since there is not enough snow to cover up the discarded sofas and white goods, the Speedwell estate still looks like shit. Now with added slush. Thankfully I got to come home from the other direction so I only had to see that once today.

I was amazed how light the park was last night. At this time last night I could look out and see right across the park and there were people out messing about in the snow. Tonight, pitch black!
