Uncharacteristically productive

I think I've been kidnapped by aliens - I've actually started getting stuff out of my room to fit it up. Usually it would take me months to get around to it.

I'm astounded by how much I managed to get under, on top of and in the wardrobes in the bedroom, thus not using up any additional floor space. I also moved the smallest bookcase into the bedroom so that it's not in the way. Win!

I realized that my plan to get everything out of the room at one go was silly - I'm going to do the stripping and painting with as much stuff still in the room as possible, and only get everything out of the way when the flooring is being done, as there's no point overloading the rest of the house for any longer than strictly necessary.

I think I'm even going to make a start at taking the paper down today. After I have a nice long rest. I feel fine, but am aware that if I overdo it I might not get up for 4 days.

[Local announcement] Free to a good home: One king-sized mattress. New owner must collect as it won't fit in the new car. If none of you want it, I need to figure out how Freecycle works these days.

freecycle is so easy. I can send u the link if u want or alternatively put it up for you if you only want to get rid of that one thing so it's not worth joining.

I joined up years ago but I couldn't deal with the way the list was set up then; I'll have to have another look.
