This is getting stupid
Aug. 18th, 2003 05:53 pmThe latest website to have come to the attention of my employer's firewall is the BBC. So that's one less source of stuff for me to do during the day.
(I'm just waiting for them to bar medline and cancerweb. At this rate it won't be long).
I saw on the Globe and Mail site (that's still under their radar) that the Ontario government is raising the temperature in all its offices to 25 degrees to save power and warning employees it might be a little uncomfortable.
I'm just about ready to kill to have an office at 25 degrees. Despite the fact that it is nowhere near that hot outside today, it's definitely hotter than that in the office. There's parts of the hospital that haven't been under 30 in months (if I worked in any of them, I'd be unemployed now.
And I'm still feeling like a pile of poo, so Pirates this week is unlikely. If I get up the energy to do anything, Goodbye Lenin is only on at the Watershed until Thursday.
