Update

I've had a hectic week at work, and not because I was away the previous week. My excellent staff had covered my work really well and the only stuff waiting for me was things that only I can do. I can only hope that I get to take all that time back some time soon, as I'd like not so much the time but the brain cells free to get some reading done and finish the jigsaw puzzle that's been taking over the house for far too long.

Got up far too early for a Saturday to go to the history tour at Arnos Vale cemetery. I'm glad I did, because I was a lovely day and quite interesting. We had a good goth turnout for such an early start.

I had a mostly foiled shopping expedition yesterday, but I did get janinemarriott and I matching sun hats from H&M. I thought I got wrist and knee pads for rollerblading, but didn't realise till I got home that these things might come in various sizes and sure enough the ones I got were way too small.[1] It's not the end of the world that I have to go back next week to return them, as I will need hair dye, and the Boots in the centre is the only place I've been able to find the more vibrant red shades.

I had really wanted to try on roller blades before buying but there were none to be found in town so I ordered some online. I *will* get myself mobile soon!

[1] I had assumed that when I got my sleeping sorted out I would be less stupid. Clearly this is not the case.

BTW it might just be easier to let the stupid in and not resist. Works for me
