I've always resisted the memes where you find out what the no. 1 song was on the week you were born, expecting it would be something really boring.

But [livejournal.com profile] lil_m_moses linked to such a thing yesterday, and as I'm in too much pain to do any work today, I thought I'd give it a go.

The Billboard No. 1 song for the week I was born is:

Hello I Love You by the Doors.

How cool is that?

This post is brought to you on account of being bored and in pain.

I didn't realise they re-released it in 1980...

Nice try.

Apparently there are certain advantages to being old!

That is sooo much cooler than mine, which is "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" by Middle of the Road.

At least I've got T-Rex. But my other half has Grandad by Clive Dunn.

Actually, I just realised Jodi had used the Billboard chart, and that gives me Carole King, which is a vast improvement.

Jo gets George Harrison - definitely an improvement!

You know the alternative was bad when!

I wholeheartedly support using whichever side of the pond's chart works best for you.
