Sep. 7th, 2010 01:09 pmAllegedly they have a MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/blackstrobe but I checked them out on Spotify.
With influences like:
Muddy Waters, Nitzer Ebb, Burzum, early warp records, Tones on Tails, Nick Cave, Depeche Mode, Front 242,Rollins Band, The Sonics, detroit techno, Jhonny Burnette, Hank Williams, Slayer, My Bloody Valentine, Cabaret Voltaire, Sonic Youth, GRM...
what's not to like?

On their MySpasm page there's only one brief burst of the kind of low-down rock you'd expect from their influence list: their cover of Bo Diddley's 'I'm A Man'. Where they suddenly sound like the Young Gods.
Not bad for what they are...but they don't quite seem to know what they are.
