Whitby timetable
Oct. 26th, 2003 07:25 pmI can't believe I'm doing this, but there's a gazillion people I want to catch up with, so you can either look for me or avoid me as the case may be. For those of you who haven't met me, I will be, as I mentioned earlier, the blonde with the trashy roots.
Travelling up Wednesday. Is anybody going to Creamy? We went last year for a couple hours and had a good time despite knowing about 2 people there.
Thursday will be checking in at the Spa at some point, and will probably be running around doing last minute stuff for the stall. (I think it's under control, but that's likely to change).
Thursday evening I will be making an actual appearance at the Spa, at least until Faith and the Muse have finished. If there's a critical mass of us, I may stay to take the piss out of Inky Suks, but as I have to be up early on Friday I suspect I'll give it a miss.
Friday I will be sitting on the stall for the animal rescue centre where I work doing some fundraising all day. Do come by and say hello! (and buy some stuff).
Friday night will probably be an early night back at the cottage.
After this I have no definite plans. I will not be in the Spa any night other than Thursday. I'm buying an Ordnance Survey map & exploring the countryside at some point if the weather isn't too bad. I'm sitting in the cottage and reading if it is. Oh, and wandering around Whitby and shopping, though it will be less fun this year because I don't have stupid amounts of money to spend.
We will probably stick around for lunch on Sunday and then head back.
I have just discovered that the display boards for the stall take up a lot more room in the car than expected. The good news is, that reinforces the "no shopping" rule. The bad news is, I'll be even more fashionably challenged than anticipated.

Date: 2003-10-26 12:50 pm (UTC)"...starting from the bottom of the Abbey steps at 3.00. We'll be going up the steps, and into the abbey, which will cost £3.80 for non-members of English Heritage. Given that it may well be cold, wet and miserable, we shan't keep you for too long - about an hour to 90 mins - and if it's really horrible then we might adjourn to a pub or something. Which I suspect we may be doing at the end, anyway... Hope to see you all there."
Will you still be working on the stall then though?
