You don't think I actually know what we have in the kitchen, do you? Or more to the point, how often it gets used?

The point is supposed to be to prove that everybody thinks they're a gourmet when actually they live of microwave meals and takeaways.

I don't even pretend.

I also don't buy things without carefully considering whether it's actually going to be useful, which I suppose makes me a Bad Consumer.

I live on cucumber sandwiches and grapes & cheddar! Supplemented by an occasional fish & chips. I did try my local curry house - without prompting they told me they were very good, I said I'd be the judge of that, and sure enough I've not been back since.

Oh I did have a sandwich toaster, but I noticed two things; massive weight gain, and missing chunks of teflon. It's in the bin now.

I don't own a microwave!

I veer between proper cooked food - local meat, organic veg, all home-made - and proper dirty takeaways. No middle ground in my house!
