[film] The Butterfly Effect
Oct. 14th, 2012 08:13 pmNot quite what I thought it would be. It's pretty grim - the main character has blackouts all through his childhood, which turn out all to be repressing really horrible things. In college, he finds a way to go back to those blackout times and change things, but it takes more than a few tries before he gets it close to right.
I found the first half just unremittingly grim and not very interesting, but it did get my attention in the second half. Glad I've seen it, but also glad that I waited till it was on TV.
