Flooring. Yay.
Dec. 31st, 2003 02:27 pmI've really got to stop it with these posts that make me look stupid, but what the hell.
I'm feeling slightly less like I'm about to die today, so we headed off to Ikea. £20 later we discovered they haven't sold laminate flooring for two years. So much for the silver floor idea. I did get stuff I needed (magazine racks) and discovered they don't have picture frames in the sizes I need. Jason as usual purchased more stuff for the kitchen and there was some way cool storage devices in the children's section that we had to have. (There's always something desperately cool in the children's section). Oh, and Jason got a bamboo plant. It cost £2 so he better not kill it.
Note to self: next time check they have what I want before setting out.
A short drive to B&Q later, we have flooring.
We have nice flooring, because it's for the hallway. Having calculated how much it will cost to do the living room, we'll be getting shitty beech effect like everyone else.
I meant to pay with the credit card in the event I run short towards the end of January. In autopilot mode I paid with the debit card. Doh! Just because I haven't needed the credit card in over a year.
