Jan. 24th, 2004 11:12 pmI'm awake, nearly coherent and at the computer. Interesting.
Working full time and then some (on top of the full day on Wednesday I get paid for, I've racked up 4 extra hours this week alone. At this rate I'll have an extra week of annual leave quite soon) is proving do-able, but only just. I feel pretty OK all day at work, but I get home, sit down and am excessively zombie-fied.
On top of that, I've been sucked into the jigsaw puzzle. I may be gone some time.
In lieu of content, I'd just like to say that before the puzzle got me, I read Clive Barker's Sacrament. It's less a fantasy/horror story than an analysis of gay identity in the wake of the AIDS epidemic. The first 500 pages flew by but the last 100 dragged a bit. I rate it less highly than Weaveworld, Imajica and The Thief of Always but definitely better than the other stuff of his I've read (erm - I think Books of Blood, Damnation Game, Cabal and Great & Secret Show).
I owe the world and their dog emails - sorry! I suck, but that's not news.
