inulroI woke up in the middle of the night feeling rather off, and failed to get up when my alarm went off. Had a few urgent-ish things on my desk though, so crawled in to work about 10:00, to discover that the boss and the nurse specialist are also off sick. (They are actually afflicted by real bugs, I'm just feeling crappy as usual). Have successfully delegated all the boss's jobs for the day.
Aside from that, it's been yet another day when I get to add more things to the "stuff you shouldn't need a graduate degree to be able to figure out" list. (No. 1 is still "TB is urgent!). Why does everyone choose days when I'm too ill to cope to be grossly incompetent? More to the point, why are people who don't even pretend to do their jobs still allowed to work here?
Failed to see either Death in Vegas or Interpol last week due to being too tired. But my latest Projekt order has come. The second Audra album is excellent, the Trance to the Sun album Does Not Suck, and the second Mira album is very nice, but definitely more of the first. I have yet to listen to the latest sampler, but it has a Voltaire track on it, which is promising.
As an end note, the hamster is still alive, but I think he's getting a fed up with being disturbed when we check on him every couple of hours.
