Silly question du jour
Aug. 9th, 2004 07:43 pmDoes anybody know how long it takes to get to Heathrow on the tube from Finsbury Park (all on the same line, at least)? On Sunday morning?
I have a friend arriving at 11:00 on Sunday morning. (I wouldn't need to be there for 11, as she has to get through immigration & collect luggage). She has expressed a willingness to get to Finsbury Park on her own, but she'll have just flown long haul from Central Asia and will be jetlagged, so it's probably wise if I go out to collect her.
I'm probably too poor at the moment to contemplate the Heathrow Express, and I will be without car.

Date: 2004-08-09 07:37 pm (UTC)Then it's a little over an hour IIRC by tube plus then getting to the terminal. Plus as it's a w/e you can just get a 1-6 travel card from the end of the road which is £5.40 IIRC, that'll cover you there and back plus buses both end.
That probably means you can set off around 09:30 to get there not long past 11:00.
