What a Surprise
Jan. 7th, 2005 08:37 pmThe Ramones documentary, End of the Century does not appear to be playing anywhere near Bristol. It probably doesn't help that both The Watershed and the Arnolfini are closed or nearly closed for renovation at the moment. Neither Cube nor mainstream cinemas have picked it up.
According to the Guardian's site, the closest places it's playing are Birmingham or London. If anyone knows otherwise, I'd appreciate hearing.
Crap.
I'm not going all that way just to see a movie, even this one. I really don't want to wait for the DVD either.
Oh the irony. If you check out the link above, you will note that it's even doing a brief stint in the complete backwater I grew up in. For those of you who don't know, try to guess.
