Stupid London Parking Question
Feb. 17th, 2005 05:54 pm(apologies to anyone who's seen this on Pure as well)
It's like this:
I'm not really going to be well enough by Saturday to make it to Dresden Dolls, but seeing as I missed them last time and have spent money I now cannot afford on the tickets, we ARE going. I'm not going to be well enough to deal with the coach, so am looking to dump the car somewhere in West London, take the tube to the venue & drive back to Bristol immediately after the gig.
I've done this before, but it was evening when I parked the car. This is an early gig so I'll need to be parking between 5 and 6 pm, which may make things more difficult.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to leave the car that's not too far from the end of the M4 and a Tube station (last time I think I ended up in Kensington). Again, I'm willing to pay - is there a multi-storey somewhere that's easy to find? Anything so sensible as a park & ride scheme?
Any help would be appreciated.
Jodi
