More nonsense
Feb. 20th, 2005 08:38 pmThe plague has mutated into a very nasty sore throat & chest cold. I feel 100X better than I did.
Due to still feeling like death, Jason & I made a commando raid to London to see the Dresden Dolls. They totally rocked and were well worth the effort. Review may follow if I ever wake up. Allegedly, there were people I knew at said event, but I had utterly under-estimated how huge and packed the venue would be, so I didn't find anybody. Given my plague-ridden status, that is probably for the best.
Need to get to the city more often - for the first time in over a week, my nose and eyes stopped running. I kid you not. I am completely urban-living evolved.
I even have delusions of going to work tomorrow. I'd better be able to, because I've already spent the money. With this no sick pay crap, I might as well be working in Canada.

Date: 2005-02-21 07:39 pm (UTC)The machine in the tube station gave us day passes as it was off-peak, so we cheated and ate at a random Italian restaurant in Covent Garden instead of trying to find something edible at King's Cross. It was expensive, but really good.
