Still more blah

Last night, for the first time in more years than I can remember, probably since I was 18, I was up all night coughing. I haven't really stopped all day. Fortunately for my bank account, I made it to work though.

I'm decidedly Not Happy about the coughing. I know it's the end result of last week's flu - the nurse practitioner even warned me about it - and I'm not that ill. However, I lost a good deal of my childhood to paroxysmal coughing for weeks on end, so now I'm in a panic that it's going to happen again. Which it's not, and I'm sure a little sleep would put things in perspective. If I'm lucky, I might even get some by the end of the week.

apparently chocolate has been proved to be as good as any cough medicine, so you have an excuse to go and buy lots :)

If desperate, we do have Nyquil here which helps one sleep with a bad cough.

The medication which makes me sleep has not yet been invented, because I have my regular insomnia on top of the cough to contend with.
