Long Weekend!

Friday I didn't feel great and thus didn't do much.
Saturday we took advantage of our National Trust membership and visited Lytes Carey Manor and took a walk around the grounds.
Yesterday I stayed in and finally tackled a good chunk of the reading I need to do before I start my course.
Today we went to Sand Point, just outside Weston. The intention was to go for a brief walk, but it didn't turn out that way (what we thought was a short cut turned out not to be). Thankfully there was an ice cream van in the car park at the end. Good exercise, but my legs are really sore now.
Must go tackle some more of that pile of reading - it's really getting to be a panic as we're supposed to have read everything before the course starts & I come home from work too tired to focus most days. Thankfully, my current place of work (University of Bristol) closes for an extra day over Easter so I have the day off tomorrow. The bad news is I don't get paid, but at the moment time is more of an emergency than money.
