Work!

I'm going back to work tomorrow. It's 3 weeks of 3 days a week (just what I need) at the University of Bristol. I wouldn't have wanted to start this early, but it's really hard to get a foot in the door at the university, and if all else fails and I have to go back to office work, it's where I'd rather be. The hourly rate is so low that even I normally wouldn't bother, but I don't want to do anything that's remotely taxing my brain at the moment either.

I haven't been terribly productive lately anyway, so I'm hoping that adding some structure to my life but leaving myself more free time than full time work allows will help with that.

I broke my rule about sleeping during the day again,because at this point I'm more desperate to have had some sleep than to have my body clock properly set. It's going to get a nasty surprise come tomorrow morning anyway.

If it doesn't, it's not too big a deal. It's only temping, and it's an agency I wouldn't touch with a barge pole if they didn't hold the university contract (it's a general work agency that mostly handles food service and warehouse stuff, whereas I can get a much higher hourly rate if I go to a secretarial specialist place.)

I would just like to get through the next couple months without burning too much of a hole in my savings or sticking Jason with too many of the bills.
