I knew I'd missed something. Watched this about a month ago and wrote about it on Facebook so you can see where my brain went.

Anyway, yep, most depressing cartoon ever, and possibly the most depressing film ever. The animation is lovely, though. I'm glad I saw it but - yeah, really harrowing stuff.

I want to see this *so much* but it's not available on Lovefilm and I keep on missing it at the Prince Charles. Might have to scour the local libraries to see if they have a copy.

It is available on Lovefilm, that's how we got it. On DVD, not online.

Ah, it just got stuck in my queue forever so I assumed it wasn't available. Switched over to Netflix now anyway, so too late. Might just suck it up and buy it, you can't have too many incredibly bleak films.
