It has been brought to my attention that I don't comply with the "rules" for proper use of User Icons. Must have been, you know, having a life when that memo came round. I'm not doing anything about it either.

Ooh, completely by accident I just came across an icon of you, from waaaaay back. Have you still got the blue wig? I'm not sure what your email address is these days but if you email me I'll send you the link. Or you might find it yourself - Bob's the word.

oh, is that *still* kicking around? Still, it's one of the few decent pictures of me ever taken.

I still have the blue wig but haven't worked up the energy to wear it in years. It takes longer to hide my hair under it than to do something with my hair in the first place, and it gets way too hot.

Did you have a green one too? I seem to recall liking the blue one but recoiling in horror at the green one. I might have made that up though. It is a good photograph, yes. I found it because my weblogs showed access to a picture of mine via someone googling for "ginger hair" of all things!
